About me

I have an MA in Modern Languages, and an MSt in Psychodynamic Practice, from Oxford University. The latter includes both a Certificate in Psychodynamic Studies and a Diploma in Psychodynamic Practice. I have also done post-qualification Jungian training with the GAP. I am fully accredited by, and registered with, UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) and abide by their code of ethics and practice. I was until recently Chair of the Oxford Psychotherapy Society.

I have many years' experience of offering counselling and psychotherapy in both my private practice and in different public settings, including NHS Psychological Services and a large workplace organisation. Additionally, I have a wide experience of working with people from diverse cultures and religious backgrounds.

I am qualified in, and have experience of, dealing with a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, anger, loss and relationship problems. I am a member of ISPS (International Society for Psychological and Social Approaches to Psychosis) and Rethink, and have some familiarity with mental health issues and the treatments on offer. I am also comfortable working within spiritual dimensions of therapy if this is an approach you would like to take.

I can offer therapy in Spanish, as well as in English. I also have a good understanding of French and Italian.
